A boutique community, it is located in one of Boorondara’s most prestigious streets and in walking distance of the Balwyn shopping village, with trams to the city and Box Hill. A collection of just 42 luxury units and villas provide a home and lifestyle that is private, convenient and inspiring.
Pinnacle Living is a Melbourne based, family owned company run by a team of property design, development and management experts. We started in 2004 with Tudor Village Lilydale, and followed in 2008 with Yarrbat Place Balwyn and Bellarine Springs in 2014.

Yarrbat Place Balwyn is for independently capable people over 55 or those are retired from full time employment, and their partners. You’ll find a community of likeminded people who look for an easy, relaxing lifestyle that’s full of variety, warm friendships and peace of mind.
Residents are responsible for the maintenance of the interior of their premises and private areas. However if residents choose they can access domestic and other help, on a user pays basis, we can assist in sourcing this for you. The Manager coordinates the maintenance of the exterior of all buildings, as well as common areas, grounds and facilities throughout the Village.
Being a gated community, residents have their own security access tag. All villas are fitted with front security doors and master keyed deadlocks. All have hard-wired smoke alarms. The facility is monitored by a comprehensive CCTV system, and the main building is alarmed and monitored. Residents may use the facilities at any time and admit visitors after hours by a colour video intercom system.

Yarrbat Place provides an emergency response system which residents operate by pressing a pendant and/or fixed button within their unit. The system is monitored 24 hours a day by Yarrbat Place staff. All staff are qualified to minimum First Aid Level 2 standard, and are familiar with the village and proficient in emergency management.

The Manager maintains confidential up-to-date resident medical information and emergency contacts with copies kept for easy access by medical and emergency personnel, in line with our strictly enforced Privacy Policy.

In addition, the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as the City of Boroondara provide eligible residents with a range of services such as meals-on-wheels, home help and district nursing.

If you would like some extra help with looking after your home, we can arrange this for you. We can also guide you about the type of services and facilities or options that may be available through the Council or other care providers.
Certainly, pets are always welcome at Yarrbat Place as long as you keep them in accordance with the relevant policy, so they won’t be a nuisance to other residents. We require that dogs be kept on a leash throughout the Village.
Of course! Yarrbat Place Balwyn will be your home. We are more than happy to advise of service providers to help with any part of sorting, packing and transport for your move to Yarrbat Place.

You are completely free to go on a holiday whenever you wish. Simply let our Village Manager know about your plans and we will make any arrangements to look after your home and collect your mail whilst you are away and welcome you home again, and we’ll be sure to turn on your heating in the winter!

Your guests are always welcome at Yarrbat Place Balwyn and can share in enjoying the facilities and activities with you while in the Village. You must stay with your guests while they are in your home, or any other part of the Village. You can arrange for guests to stay with you by letting the Village Manager know of their arrival and departure so that we are aware of who is in the Village.
